MorCore is a licensed, insured technology solutions company serving residential and commercial clients across the Capital Region and surrounding areas. We design and install security cameras, surveillance systems, fire and smoke alarm systems, access control, home and business network systems, audio/video setups, and low-voltage cabling — handling everything from initial consultation through installation and ongoing support.

 Our primary service area covers Rensselaer, Albany, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties, along with parts of Columbia, Greene, Warren, and Washington Counties in New York. We also provide select service in Berkshire County, MA and Bennington County, VT. If you're just outside those boundaries, reach out — we're happy to let you know whether we can accommodate you.

 Yes. MorCore Tech Solutions is NYS Licensed (#12000303163) and fully insured. We carry all required credentials to perform low-voltage and alarm system work in New York State.

For larger or more complex projects, we'll schedule a site visit to make sure the proposal is accurate. 

 We'll follow up promptly to discuss your needs, answer questions, and — if needed — arrange a time to walk through your space. Once you approve a proposal, we'll schedule your installation at a time that works for you. 

 Yes. We serve residential and commercial clients. The core services are the same — the scale and configuration differ. Commercial projects often involve more complex network infrastructure, multi-zone surveillance, or code-compliant fire alarm systems. Residential projects tend to focus more on ease of use, aesthetics, and integration with smart home platforms. 

 A local alarm only sounds inside your building when triggered — no one is notified unless someone hears it.  A monitored system connects to a central station that can notify the appropriate emergency contacts or dispatch authorities based on the signal received and the account setup. MorCore can design and install monitored fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide systems with remote app access for status checks, alarm history, and code management.   We utilize C.O.P.S. Monitoring and Lydia Security Monitoring, Inc. as trusted partners.

 Yes, monitored systems typically include a monthly service fee paid to MorCore.  The cost of this protection depends on the type of system and what level of protection you require.

We install both cloud-based and local (standalone NVR/DVR) camera systems and help you choose the right fit for your budget, property layout, and privacy preferences. We are authorized resellers and installers of Ring and Nest products, and also work with many other reputable brands.

 Yes. We design and install custom wired and wireless network systems that replace or supplement your existing setup — including eliminating dead zones, removing ISP rental equipment fees, and extending reliable coverage throughout your property. We work with your existing internet service; we don't sell or resell internet plans. 

Yes. We stand behind our work and are available to answer questions, address issues, and provide follow-up service after installation whenever needed.

 Yes. We have the knowledge and experience to work on many existing low-voltage systems.
